Licensed Massage Therapist (Lic. #4760),
Certified Integrative Manual Therapist
Kim was licensed in 1993 from the National Health Care Institute of Salem, Oregon. She’s currently training in Fascial Counterstrain through the Jones Institute and The Counterstrain Academy. Kim has been certified in Integrative Manual Therapy, 3 forms of cranial sacral work, Functional Indirect Technique (FIT), Myofascial Release, Reflexology, various forms of energy work, and has developed her own style and use for cupping and gua sha which she currently teaches nationwide called Myofascial Sculpting©. She uses various assessment tools to find where the energy is blocked in your body and uses the necessary modality to help it flow again.
Your session is tailored to your needs and multiple modalities will be used if necessary. Here’s a visual representation of the mind of Kim and how she addresses any and all her clients’ challenges.
One could describe Kim’s need to gain knowledge of the human anatomy as borderline obsessive. She’s fascinated by the body’s systems and has a great thirst for knowledge.
In her time off, she enjoys spending time with her 3 adult children, gardening, playing frisbee golf, dancing and learning different styles of dance.
“I’ve found great satisfaction in my own healthcare from the tools and techniques I use and enjoy sharing these with others. I’m dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle, built upon the foundation of a gluten-free, mostly organic diet augmented by holistic supplements,” says Kim.
